This year the Kansas State Championships will be held Feb. 2 & 3 at the Remington Ranch grounds just north and east of Independence, Ks.

We will again have an added $2500 in cash and prizes for this event donated by our local Independence Chamber of Commerce. There will be a minimum of $2000 added CASH and Prizes for Open Singles events and $500 in prizes for Amateur Singles. Plaques for 1st Place Doubles Teams. 

 Open Singles

Standard NUCS format with one preliminary run and up to 10 callbacks in the Open Singles based on the total number of entries. Dogs may be entered twice with only 1 run advancing to the callback. THERE WILL BE NO CALLBACK FEES FOR DOGS THAT MAKE FINALS.

50 dog fields. 

$2000 added CASH and Prizes

 Amateur Singles

Standard NUCS format for Amateur events with top scoring run winning the event. Dogs may be entered twice and place twice. Dogtra 1900S collars to winners. 

Plagues to 1st, 2nd, 3rd placements.

25 dog fields.

 Entry Fees are as follows and INCLUDE banquet meals and 6 CHANCES PER ENTRY in singles and 12 CHANCES per entry in doubles to win a RUGER AMERICAN RANCH 300 BLACKOUT RIFLE WITH 16" THREADED BARROL. USES AR MAGS. Additional chances will be available at the banquet. 

OPEN RUNS: $155 includes Banquet and 6 chances per entry.

 AMATEUR RUNS: $95 includes Banquet and 6 chances per entry.

 DOUBLES NON MONEY: $110 includes 12 chances per entry.

 YOUTH: FREE up to one run per Handler.   Includes Banquet and 6 chances per entry.

Banquet will be held at the local VFW in Independence, Ks.

 Entry deadline is Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 at midnight.
