OF FAME COMMITTEE:
The duties of the committee are to take
nominations, make recommendations, and submit them to the Board
Directors, for consideration for the Hall of Fame. The committee
will consist of the State Rep. that are, already in place.
All dogs that have a Super Grand
Championship, and meet all requirements as set forth in the criteria
will automatically go into the Hall of Fame without a vote of the
Board of Directors.
All dogs meeting the requirements as
set forth in the criteria will be nominated and placed on the ballot
to be voted on by the Board of Directors.
The Hall of Fame Committee shall also
take nominations for dogs that do not meet the criteria, and by
unanimous vote of the Hall of Fame Committee, select 1 dog and 1
handler from these nominations to be put on the ballot each year.
NOTE: only 1 dog and/or
1 handler may be put on the ballot each year through this method.
The Committee does not have to select a dog or handler each year.
The Committee may also nominate two people per year, who has help
with the NUCS, be it a Judge, Director, or anyone they see fit, to
put before the Board of Directors to vote on. This does not have to
be done every year. This will be decided on by a majority vote of
the Board of Directors.
The Hall of Fame Committee shall
receive nominations throughout the year, with these nominations sent
to the Committee Chairman by Jan. 1st. The Committee
Chairman will then send out Ballots to all Committee members by Feb.
1st, for each member to vote on.
The ballots must be returned by March 1st
for the Chairman to present them to the Board of Directors for a
final vote. The nominees must receive a majority vote to be elected
to the Hall of Fame.
Any dog or handler that is elected to
the Hall of Fame shall be inducted the following year at the
National Finals Banquet.
NOTE: Any dog or Handler that has been elected to the NUCS Hall
of Fame cannot be taken away, unless it is proven that he/she was
elected illegally.
Handlers will become eligible based
on how many Champions they have handled thru the years. It will be
on a 100 point criteria explained below
There will also be a place in the
NUCS Hall of Fame for the dog that reproduces Champions from their
Blood Lines and will be called Hall of Fame Reproducer.
The dogs must score 100 points from the criteria
that will be explained.
CRITERIA FOR NUCS HALL OF FAME:
Any dog that has become a Grand Champion of the
NUCS will be eligible for nomination for the Hall of Fame. To be a
Grand Champion they must have 5 Championships in the
Open or Doubles Divisions
of NUCS, or 3 Championships in the Amateur Division.
When a dog has gotten its Super Grand
Championship, and this is when he/she has 10 NUCS Championships it
will automatically be inducted into the NUCS Hall Of Fame.
To be nominated for the at large
nomination the dog and the handler must have been in good standing
with NUCS and NKC
to be eligible for the Hall of Fame.
Reproducers Hall of Fame 100pts needed 10
points
For each son or daughter that becomes a Amateur Champion
15 points For
each son or daughter that becomes a Open or Doubles Champion 20
points
For each son or daughter that becomes a Grand Champion 30
points
For each son or daughter that becomes a Super Grand Champion
Handlers Criteria 100pts needed 5 points
For each Championship
10 points
For each Grand Championship 15 points
For each National Finals Championship 20 points
For each Super Grand Championship
A list of nominees will be place on the web site
each year for the entire membership to see and send their nomination
to their Committee member. This will be updated 1 time per year.
A NUCS Hall of Fame Plaque will be
present each year to the new Hall of Fame members, at the NUCS
National Finals Banquet.
